Welcome

Trinity Catholic is proud to offer a fun and education way for our students to get involved with theatre.  After a 13-year hiatus TC Theatre was re-born in the fall of 2016 with the play ‘Once in a Lifetime’.  Students who had never been on stage before became part of the cast and found a love for performing.  TC Theatre students have created a tradition that we hope lasts many years to come.

Why get involved...
Theatre can help promote leadership skills, teamwork and self confidence.

The most important life skill you learn in theatre is communication. Many theatre performers develop the ability to speak clearly and thoughtfully.

Theatre can  help to break down stereotypes, generate empathy, stimulate cooperation, reasoning and the ability to be critical. Focusing on teamwork in every production reinforces these skills.

There is more to Theatre than just acting, we need a tech crew, which includes sound and lighting, make-up and costume design.  Students can learn how to light the stage for the performances, manage all the sound and microphones, help with costumes and make-up design.

If you'd like to get involved visit Mrs. Neal at school or contact her at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

There are many ways to support TC Theatre:

Time...can you sew, paint, build?  We could use you!

Donations...Do you have old paint or furniture that you are not using, we'll take that off your hands!

Feel comfortable ushering patrons to their seats?  We have a job for you!

*Theatre Etiquette

  1. Arrive early.
If you are late, you may be held out or reseated until an appropriate time for you to get to your assigned seat. People who arrive late disturb the performers on stage and audience members. It is best to arrive about 30 minutes early so that you have time to purchase concessions, find your seat, and read the program before the show starts.

    2. Take care of personal needs before the show.
If at all possible, you should not leave your seat until the intermission or until the performance ends.

    3. Please sit in the seat you are assigned so you do not cause confusion for other audience members.

    4. Silence or turn off all electronic devices.
You’ll be embarrassed if it goes off in the middle of a tense moment of the show and it will break the mood for everyone.

    5. Most shows do not allow photography of any kind.
Flash photography inside the theatre is never allowed as it is a distraction to those around you and a danger to the performers.

    6. Please refrain from talking, humming, or singing along with the show, except when encouraged to do so by the artist or show.

    7. Wait for an appropriate moment to dig something out of your pocket or bag.

    8. If you need assistance during the show, please go to your nearest volunteer usher.
If additional assistance is needed the usher will get the appropriate person to further help you.

    9. Outside food and beverage is not allowed.
Special exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.
