  A FEW OF OUR OUTSTANDING MUSIC STUDENTS:

  Angelina Batista
  Angelina is a sophomore and has been in choir since JH.  While in JH, she participated in JH music festival with a I- rating.  She performed with HS Choir at KSHSAA Regional Solo & Small Ensemble (1 rating) and also performed at State.  Angelina plans to audition for college music scholarships in the future.

   

  MaryAna Flores
  MaryAna is a Sophomore and has been in band since 5^th grade.  She has participated in JH Music Festival as a soloist with +1 ratings both years.  MaryAna plays flute for concert band, Jazz band, and participates in the HOAL Honor Band.  Last year, she took a solo to KSHSAA Regionals receiving a 1 rating and advancing to State.  She also auditioned and was selected for the SCKMEA District Band last year; MaryAna plans to audition this year as well.  Outside of Trinity, MaryAna takes private flute lessons and participates in the Salina Youth Symphony.
