Trinity Catholic Activities - National Honor Society

The TCHS National Honor Society is a chapter member of the National Honor Society of Secondary Schools. The object of this chapter is to create an enthusiasm for SCHOLARSHIP, to stimulate a desire to render SERVICE, to promote worthy LEADERSHIP, and to encourage the development of CHARACTER in students of TCHS. To be eligible for membership, the candidate must have completed at least five high school semesters (junior or senior standing), the most recent of which at Trinity, and have an accumulative GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. The candidates must then write a letter upholding the above four qualities with explanation of what they have done. As a final quality, the candidates are evaluated by faculty members based on SCHOLARSHIP, LEADERSHIP, SERVICE, and CHARACTER. Induction into NHS is held at the spring final Awards Assembly.
